The Indian Institute of Management Lucknow (abbreviated IIM Lucknow or IIM-L) is an autonomous public business school in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, India. It was established in 1984 as the fourth Indian Institute of Management (IIM) by the Government of India. IIM Lucknow offers post-graduate diploma, fellowship and executive programs in management. It is recognised as an "Institution of Excellence" by India's Ministry of Human Resource Development.
The Indian Institute of Management Lucknow is fourth in the prestigious IIM family of management schools to be established in India after IIM Calcutta, IIM Ahmedabad and IIM Bangalore. The establishment of IIMs was envisioned and initiated by the first Prime Minister of India – Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru.

In 2005, IIM Lucknow expanded its area of influence in the realm of management education by becoming the first IIM to set up a satellite campus exclusively for Executive Education at NOIDA in Delhi NCR region.

Management Development Programmes (MDP) are tailor made programs to train executives in specific industry, government, and non-governmental organisations.These programs are short term ranging from three to five days (MDP) 3 Months to 6 months (eMDP) are customised by subject or target group. Around 50 to 60 programs are conducted every year. A one-year General Management program is offered through virtual Interactive classroom. As a combined initiative with the Ministry of Defence, a six-month General Management Programme is conducted for Defence officers to assist their career transition to the corporate sector.
IIM Lucknow has been placed at fourth rank by the National Institutional Ranking Framework, Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India (2019) ranking among the business schools in India. The Association of MBAs (AMBA) has accorded accreditation to Institute’s PGPM, IPMX, and WMP programs. IIM Lucknow broke into 301-350 rankings of the QS World Rankings in the business-management studies category. IIM Lucknow has the prominent AACSB International Accreditation for global network of business schools.
