The Certificate Programme in Applied Financial Risk Management by IIM Indore is intended for individuals who wish to work as Financial Risk Managers (FRM) in banks, FinTech firms, and other financial institutions. Its goal is to provide a comprehensive understanding of applied financial risk management by delving deeply into risk management fundamentals and instilling critical skills for risk identification and management via a variety of hands-on techniques and tools.

After completing this programme, the participants should be able to:

• Make investment decisions in the financial market from the short-term and long-term perspectives
• Critically analyse and interpret financial data
• Devise risk management measures within the purview of risk mitigation strategies
• Evaluate the effectiveness of risk management measures considering the implementation costs   

•  Diploma (10+2+3) or Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent (10+2+3) or 10+2+4) or 2 years Master’s Degree or equivalent from a recognised university (UGC/AICTE/DEC/AIU/State Government) in any discipline with minimum 50% aggregate marks of all the years
• Minimum 2 years of work experience is required post completion of qualifying education

*Internships and Training Experiences will not be considered full-time work experience.  

The selection will be based on candidate’s profile evaluation, subject to meeting eligibility criteria.

• Participants who successfully complete the prescribed course of study and fulfil all other academic requirements will be awarded a ‘Certificate of Completion’.
• Successful participants will also be accorded IIM Indore Executive Education Alumni status*.
