Course Overview
Synopsis
Operations Management is what gives an organisation the power to act, to create value for its customers, shareholders, and the business ecosystem. Times are changing more quickly than we can adapt. In the aftermath of COVID-19, organisations lean more than ever on Operations Managers to see through the recovery and run them more efficiently. As an Operations Manager, you play a lead role in shaping the future of an organisation.
Therefore, upskilling yourself with evolving domain knowledge and requisite skills with a contemporary programme like IIM Nagpur’s Post Graduate Certificate Programme in Operations Management (PGCPOM) will help you stay relevant in the industry and go up the corporate ladder.
PGCPOM is an 11-month programme designed for operations professionals to enable them to take tactical and operational decisions in alignment with organisational strategy. The programme unravels key issues relevant for operations managers such as “What should be the operations strategy given a corporate strategy?”; “How to improve process and supply chain performance on various dimensions (Quality, Efficiency, Timeliness, Customisability)?”; “How to apply analytics in day-to-day operations of a firm?”; “How to incentivise various stakeholders in the supply chain for effective alignment?”; and “How to plan and execute projects (such as infrastructure development, IT, R&D, etc.) in an effective manner?”
